William C. Becker, 56

William C. Becker, 56, of Bonners Ferry, was suddenly called home by his Heavenly Father on Monday, Oct. 29, 2007. Bill passed away in his sleep from natural causes.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Beckers' home on County Road 63.

Bill was born in Bemidji, Minn., on Aug. 2, 1951, to Carl and Arlysse Becker of Moyie Springs.

Bill joined the military in 1971 and served until 1974. He rejoined in 1988 and served until 1992.

Bill then worked on the pipeline in Wyoming for a short time but primarily worked in the local mills in Boundary County.

He loved his dog, Snickers.

Bill is survived by his parents; a sister, Linda Becker of Moyie Springs; a niece, Cassandria Schleif and her husband, Alan; a nephew, Jason Hendricks and his wife, Rosie; great-nephews Ronin, Nicholas and Zachary; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

We will surely miss you Bill.
