SANDPOINT — Bonners Ferry Senior Samantha Hiatt led the Badgers with six points and Camille Robertson added five during a 45-26 loss to Sandpoint on Saturday.

"We couldn't score tonight," Badger assistant coach Ken Robertson said. "We had a lot of opportunities, but the ball wouldn't go through. They (Sandpoint) shot very well."

Sandpoint (1-1) held Bonners Ferry (2-2) in check defensively, holding the Badgers to single digits for three of the quarters, including two points in the third.

Bonners Ferry will host Wallace at 6 p.m. today.

Against Lakeland on Nov. 20, the Badgers' Ashley Winkelseth led the team to a 47-41 victory, scoring 14 points. Camille Robertson added 9 points.
