Watt Student of Month

Casey Watt is November's Delta Kappa Gamma, Upsilon Chapter, Student of the Month.

She is the daughter of Shawn and Darek Watt.

A sophomore at Bonners Ferry High School, Casey is involved in Student Council, Natural Helpers and the volleyball, basketball and track teams.

She enjoys Paul Bonnell's English class because she believes he's "for the kids."

She has a remarkable sense of commitment, Bonnell said.

Physical education and health teacher Janis Tucker agrees.

"She is a hard worker," Tucker said.

Social studies teacher Jan Bayer noted that Casey has set high expectations for herself.

Delta Kappa Gamma is a society of women educators. The society promotes personal and professional growth and excellence in education.

The local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, Upsilon, includes women educators from the Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry areas.
