Nathaniel Levi Vandenberg, 16

Nathaniel Levi Vandenberg, 16, of Bonners Ferry passed away on Sept. 24, 2007, at Community Hospital Urgent Care in Bonners Ferry.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Oct. 1, 2007, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bonners Ferry. Burial followed at Grandview Cemetery.

Nate was born on Feb. 22, 1991, in Coeur d'Alene to Tonnie and Mike Vandenberg. He was the third of five children.

Nate's family moved to Bonners Ferry in 1998, where he went to school and worked at Clifty View Nursery.

Nate was a hard worker and enjoyed listening to music, practicing martial arts and hanging out with friends and family. He was an outgoing kid, who loved to make everyone laugh and enjoyed the outdoors.

Nate is survived by his parents; brothers Michael, Nicholas and Mitchell; sister Mikayla; grandmothers Marion Vandenberg and Bonnie Collins; great-grandparents Ellis and Betty McRoberts; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends.

Nate was preceded in death by his grandparents Dewayne and Delora Vandenberg and his great-grandmother Wanda Hall.
