Badgers soccer team wins, 2-1

PRIEST RIVER — Bonners Ferry girls soccer team defeated Priest River 2-1 Saturday.

The Badgers out-shot the Spartans 23-3. Priest River had 11 saves to the Badgers' 3.

Priest River Senior Sabrina Johnson and scored her team's first goal.

With less tha 20 minutes to play, Bonners Ferry's Anya Krmpotich tied the game 1-1 with an assist by Emily Pauls.

Brianna Watt gave the Badger's the lead and the game's final score.

Bonners Ferry played Libby on Friday. No score was available.
