Few hundred items for sale at April 6 auction
More than a few hundred items are expected for a 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6, auction at Bonners Ferry Eagles Club for leukemia victim Steven Dalesky.
Included are a 2-year-old filly; ammunition reloading equipment; handmade quilts from Dalesky's wife, Toma; two oil paintings from Steve Dalesky's mother, Dorothy; and at least 10 gift baskets and 20 gift certificates in addition to a brown bag auction.
Diagnosed 12 years ago, Steven Dalesky is in need of a bone marrow transplant. Without one, the 59-year-old retired road worker could die within two to three years. Insurance will cover part of the cost.
Cash donations can be made to Steven Dalesky, in care of Mountain West Bank at 7186 First St., Bonners Ferry.
In addition, a bake sale to benefit the Daleskys will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 5 outside the Dollar Depot.
For information, call Dolly Boling, manager of the Dollar Depot, at 267-3286 during the day or 267-1918 in the evenings.
