Habitat for Humanity to open another home

April 23, 2008 9:00 PM
This is in response to the D+ rating given to Boundary County by the “State of the Rockies Report Card” regarding the affordable housing in our area.
Please plan to drop by 6606 VanBuren St. in Bonners Ferry on Sunday, April 27, from 1 to 4 p.m. Habitat for Humanity will be celebrating the opening of its latest local house. It’s the eighth house built in Boundary County by this group.
Stop by and see what local donations and local volunteers have done. Boundary County is too nice a place to live to have this kind of rating on housing, so please volunteer your time, materials, ideas or money to keep us out.
Refreshments will be served.
To volunteer call 267-1997 or Don, the president, at 267-1601.
