Hagen supported for county school board

Although I do not live in either of the school districts that have school board elections scheduled for next month, I am following the races closely.

Our schools and the quality of education we provide for our children are crucial in defining our community.

Is it family friendly? Are we preparing our young people to cope with the myriad of problems they will face as they grow up and take their place in tomorrow’s world?

Gil Hagen, who I know well, has for many years been in the forefront of efforts to provide quality education for our students. Years before taking his place on the school board, and to this day, Gil has made a practice of working, hands-on, within every school in the district. He knows their problems. He has worked tirelessly with individual students, including some of the most challenging ones. 

He brings to the school board experience and sound judgment, based on his years of volunteer service throughout the county. We need to keep him on the board.
