LaRae Sonja King Bomar, 39, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, in Sandpoint.
Services were held Wednesday at the home of Hartley King in Bonners Ferry with interment in Porthill Cemetery.
LaRae was born Nov. 7, 1969, in Haines, Alaska, to Ernest H. and Ruth Marie Lefever King. She was the last baby born in the old Haines Clinic.
LaRae attended Lake Stevens High School and Everett Washing-ton Com-munity College, where she earned an associate’s degree.
She married her longtime love, Russ Bomar, on June 24, 2000, in Marysville, Wash., in a beautiful backyard ceremony.
LaRae loved to cook and garden, but her greatest joy was family. She had a terrific laugh and wonderful generous spirit. LaRae will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her loving husband in Marysville; daughter Katrina; sons Dalton and Travis; her father and his wife, Becky, of Gustavus, Alaska; her mother Ruth Lefever of Beijing, China; sisters Erin King Haida of Juneau, Alaska, Carrie Bolshakoff of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Dawn Walker of Gustavus; brothers Allan Lefever of Marysville and Chris Walker of Martinsville, Ind.; grandparents Hartley and Janice King of Bonners Ferry and Ray Lefever of Laurel, Mont., uncle Ray Lefever of Arizona; and aunt Rosie Lenhardt of Laurel.
LaRae was preceded in death by her grandmothers Myrtle King of Bonners Ferry and Laura Lefever of Phoenix.
