Ninety-two-year-old Burt Eberly still bowls every Sunday night.

"As long as I can stand up I can bowl," said Eberly, a retired trucker.

As part of the Moonshiners' League in Bonners Ferry he bowls on the White Lightning team. Eberly usually has a average score of 170 but this year is is a little lower with a 156.

"I have been bowling my whole life," said Eberly. "I golf more than I bowl."

Eberly likes bowling because it is something to do and it is enjoyable.

"At my age you have to do something," said Eberly.

"Burt is a very inspirational to everyone, young and old," said A.J. Jeppesen, with the bowling alley. "He just loves life."
