A Moyie Springs woman pled guilty to felony theft of lottery tickets in a deal with the prosecuting attorney.

Samantha M. Garcia, 23, tried to cash lottery tickets at Boundary Trading Co. that were obtained illegally on July 18.

Garcia, a former B.T.C. employee, is expected to serve a local jail sentence and pay $210 in restitution.

She will be sentenced 11 a.m. April 8 at Boundary County Courthouse.
