Abraham arraigned for teenager's death

A Bonners Ferry woman accused of giving drugs to a 16-year-old who later died entered a not guilty plea Tuesday by remaining silent during her arraignment.

A trial will be scheduled.

Nicole L. Abraham, 22, was accused of providing James “Jimmy” Wylie of Bonners Ferry with the methamphetamines that led to his Dec. 11, 2006, death.

During a Jan. 24 preliminary hearing for Abraham, three teenage boys tesitified about being at the party where Wylie was provided with the methamphetamines.

All three said Abraham also provided them with drugs. They also saw her give Wylie drugs during the same party in Naples.

Abraham faces up to 40 years in prison for felony distribution to minors and delivery of a controlled substance where minors were present.

Abraham remains at the Boundary County Jail.
