Lifelong Bonners Ferry resident Eric Truesdell, 56, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at his home.

Eric was born June 30, 1951.

He graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1969 and attended the University of Idaho.

Eric then worked briefly on the East Coast before returning to Bonners Ferry, where he made his home in Paradise Valley.

Eric was passionate about the things he loved and enjoyed, including his children and grandchildren, fishing, reading, studying the stars, campfires, creating beautiful lawns and gardens, spending time in the woods, anything sweet, cabinet making, woodworking, but most of all, playing his guitar and singing.

At gatherings of family, friends and special audiences, Eric always was willing to make his sweet brand of music in the countless, memorable sing-a-longs and performances.

Eric had a woodworking shop in his basement, where he built beautiful furniture, created custom signs and a variety of wood art and gifts that he gave to many, who cherished them.

Eric was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Lynn.

He is survived by his wife, Jeri; mother, Joyce; father, Warren; brother, Mark; daughters Tracy, Ericka and Marie; stepchildren Jamie and Damon; grandchildren Ayla, Joshua, Austin, Sydney, Avery, Nick, Nathan, Noah, Thalia and Donny; a large extended family; and many lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Well Spring Church.

Memorials can be made to the Elsberry Fund and sent to Panhandle Bank, P.O. Box 1479, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, 83805.
