Badger Jamie Greensky scored 13 points to lead Bonners Ferry to a 53-40 victory over Timberlake on Tuesday.

Seniors Camile Robertson and Samantha Kelly added 12 and 11, respectively.

In action from Saturday, Kelly led the Lady Badgers with 10 points during a 60-40 loss to Priest River.

Juniors Alicia Hedrick and Ashley Winkelseth added 8 points each.

"Priest River was a great game, even though we lost by 20," said Bonners Ferry Head Coach Travis Hinthorn. "It was enough to know we could play with them."

"We were ahead by two at the end of the first quarter and down by three at halftime," Hinthorn continued. "They went on a little run in the third quarter and we never answered."

Winkelseth led in rebounds with 10. Robertson and Hedrick led with two assists each. Senior Samantha Hiatt made the only three-pointer for the Badgers.

"Priest River's full court pressure caused a lot of turnovers," Hinthorn said. "The 'press' hasn't bothered us all year. Hopefully we can figure that out for the next time we play them."

In other action, the Badgers lost 50-13 to Lake City on Friday.

Lake City is a 5A school, while Bonners Ferry is a much smaller 3A school. Lake City was also last year's state champions. Team member Katie Baker, who as a sophomore was Idaho's Player of the Year, scored 24 points against the Badgers.

"We played well for about 5 minutes," Hinthorn said. "It was 0-0, then we just couldn't get a rebound. They're just a little taller and little more athletic."
