Edna Issac, 82

Former Bonners Ferry resident Edna E. Issac, 82, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, at Zions Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, in Inman, Kan., with interment following.

She was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Inman, Kan., to Peter M. Nikkel and Kathryn Ensz. Edna attended Grove Elementary School.

Edna was married to Alfred P. Issac on Nov. 24, 1946, in Inman, Kan. He died May 25, 1970.

Edna is survived by sons Glen Issac of Bonners Ferry, Leslie D. Issac of Bruneau, and Delton V. Issac of Bonners Ferry; daughter Kathy Penner of Inman, Kan.; brothers, Abe Nikkel of Inman, Kan., and Jona Nikkel of Sarasota, Fla.; sisters Margaret Friesen of Inman, Kan., twin sister Elda Friesen of Barron, Wis., and Darlene Geisbrecht of Stapleton, Ga.

Edna was preceded in death by a son, Gary Issac; brother Irvin Issac; sister Lena Becker and a great-grandchild.
