MaKayla Brooks turned 1 year old on July 7.

She is the daughter of Jo-Hanna and Aaron Brooks of Bonners Ferry.

Grandparents are Nita and David Hilliard of Bonners Ferry, and the late V. Maye Brooks.

MaKayla has a sister, Kae, 6.
