Annette 'Annie' 'Precious' Vogl, 73

A memorial service for Annette 'Annie' 'Precious' Vogl, 73, was held Saturday at Wellspring Community Center in Bonners Ferry.

A lifelong Bonners Ferry resident, Annette passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at her home.

She graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1953 and had always worked in Bonners Ferry.

She was well known in Bonners Ferry and in the logging association for her unending involvement and contributions.

Annette was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, treasurer of the Cancer Support Group, a frequent blood donor and a past president of the Women's Gold Club.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, LeRoy Vogl; sons Mike Vogl and his wife, Sue, and Mitch Vogl and his wife, Rhonda; a stepdaughter, Karen Hansen and her husband, Fred; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and siblings Jerry, Judy and Arden Bauman.

Annette will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Memorials have been established in Annette's name to the Cancer Support Group and Bonner County Hospice.
