Tawnia Dawn Staab-Stevens, 37, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008, at her home in Bonners Ferry.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Bonners Ferry Funeral Home.

Tawnia was born July 4, 1971, to JoAnn (Law) and Monte Dale Staab in Spokane, Wash.

Tawnia Dawn came to Bonners Ferry in 1981. She was raised by her stepfather, Mike Price, whom she loved very much. He lives in Bonners Ferry.

Tawnia Dawn was a passionate reader. She enjoyed every book that she read. She also loved camping, fishing, her dogs and all of nature in general.

Tawnia Dawn loved to sit and watch the hummingbirds as they came to the feeders on the porch.

She is survived by her parents; daughter, Pamela Sue of Alaska; son, Mathew Joseph Crum of Bonners Ferry; sister, Tami of Spokane; numerous nieces and nephews, and her boyfriend, loving companion and soul mate, Jesse Ray Funderburg of 639 Ginger Lane, where she resided for the last four years until her death.
