Trany A. Spurgeon Brindos, 93

Trany A. Spurgeon Brindos, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Boundary County Nursing Home in Bonners Ferry with immediate family around her.

Private services will be held with interment at Grandview Cemetery.

Trany was born July 3, 1915, in Stanley, Wis.

She spent most of her formative years in Interna-tional Falls, Minn., where she met the love of her life, Charlie, in first grade.

On June 7, 1935, Trany married Charlie Brindos. They were married for 58 years and had six children.

In 1955, they purchased a 40-acre farm in Moyie Springs. Trany lived there until the death of her husband in 1993. Trany then moved to Bonners Ferry, where she remained until her death.

Mom loved to crochet and embroider. Her family has displays of her handwork in their homes. She was never one to sit and do nothing; her hands had to be busy.

She also was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Stevens.

Trany is survived by her children Ernie Brindos and his wife, Carol, and Bobby Pemp and her husband, Don, all of Bonners Ferry, Shirley Stevens, and her husband, Bill, of Morrilton, Ark., Sharon Ray of Rochester, Wash., and Ray Brindos, and his, wife, Sandy, of Tacoma, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mom will be greatly missed as she was much loved by all of those lives she touched.
