Adam 'Fred' Eleazer Jr., 75
Adam “Fred” Eleazer Jr., 75, on Monday, June 16, 2008, after a Father’s Day spent with children and grandchildren, went to a joyous reunion with Jesus and the love of his life, his wife, Sherla of 55 years, who preceded him in death in March.
Although we can’t be sad for him, he will be greatly missed and will always be remembered for his wisdom and sense of humor.
Fred was born July 28, 1932 in Columbia, South Carolina to Adam Fred Sr. and Ada Eleazer.
He served in the Air Force in Korea and afterwards enjoyed his profession both as an auto mechanic and car salesman.
He retired from Riverside Auto in Bonners Ferry in 2000.
He married the former Sherla Pritchett on July 9, 1953 and they had three children, Adam Fred Eleazer III of Porthill, Claire Flory and her husband, Doug, of Bonners Ferry and David Eleazer of Oroville, Calif.
Fred also had six grandchildren, Levi, Jacob, Tessa, Carson Mathew and Alex; and two great-grandchildren, Leslee and Adam.
Special thanks to Bonner Community Hospice and family friend Linda Freeman who helped make it possible for Dad to remain comfortably in his home until his death.
No services will be held at Fred’s request but memorials may be made to Bonner Community Hospice at P.O. Box 1448, Sandpoint, ID 83864.
