Local road crews praised for snow removal

| March 18, 2008 9:00 PM

I am writing to add my praise to the city and county road departments for their excellent service this winter.

As the community midwife, I find myself in the unique position of driving our roads at all times of the day and night, in all the different and challenging weather conditions we are presented with in North Idaho. And this winter was (I love using past tense) a challenge.

I always found both city and county roads as well as the highway to have been plowed and sanded as quickly as imaginable. I thank them all publicly for doing such a good job to help keep us safe.
