Sherla Pritchett Eleazer

With her family by her side, Sherla Pritchett Eleazer, 74, of Porthill, peacefully left this life to be with her Lord on Friday, March 14, 2008, at her home.

Sherla was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Iuka, Kansas, to Milton W. and Velma Pritchett.

She married the love of her life, Fred Eleazer Jr., on July 9, 1952. They shared a beautiful life and relationship for 55 years and together raised children Fred III, Claire and David.

Sherla's passions in life were her faith, family and farm, where she loved her animals and garden. Her home and heart were always open and everyone Sherla met was family.

She is survived by her loving husband; children Fred of Porthill, Clair Flory and her husband, Doug, of Bonners Ferry, and David of Oroville, Calif.; grandchildren Levi, Jacob, Carson and Tessa of Bonners Ferry and Mathew and Alex of Orovillle, Calif.; great-grandchildren Leslee, Adam and Sara; loving sister, Ione Ferrante and her husband, John; nieces Dione and Marlo; nephew John and their families; cousin Gordon, who she always thought of as her brother; Joyce Jorgensen and numerous dear friends she considered family.

She was loved and will be missed by many until we are together again. We love you.

No service will be held at Sherla's request, but she asked that donations be made to Bonner Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1448, Sandpoint, ID, 83864.
