| March 27, 2008 9:00 PM

Democrats Jerry Pavia and John O'Connor have entered the race for Boundary County Commissioner.

Pavia and O'Connor will not be opposed in the primaries, but will vie for the positions during the Nov. 4 general election.

At a March 6 meeting, the Boundary County Democratic Party worked out details for Larry Grant's visit. Grant is running for a U.S. Congressional seat in Idaho's 1st District and will be at Mugsy's at 6 p.m. Friday, March 28.

Delegates to the recent Idaho Democratic State Committee Meeting reported an overflow room had to be set up at the Frank Church annual banquet, and $80,000 was raised.

Plans also were discussed for a spaghetti feed and auction on April 18 and a breakfast at 8 a.m. June 7, both at Boundary County Fairgrounds.

Democrats will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at China Kitchen.
