Eastport News
Welcome to our newest resident, Ava Angeline Villelli. Ava was born March 5 to Angie and Joey Villelli. At 7 pounds and 19.5 inches long, the baby is healthy, and momma and papa are well.
Ava is welcomed by siblings Grace and Jaden, and grandma Marie and grandpa Dick. Congratulations.
Other birthdays include Jon Adams, who turned 68 on March 17. He celebrated with his wife, Rae Jeanne, and friends Marilyn Keslar, Steve and Lori Klettke, and Steve and Maureen Shelman. The group gathered at the Good Grief for pizza and good cheer.
Also celebrating at the Grief were Norris and Ann Stevens. Norris turned ??? on March 20. Best wishes to both of these gentlemen.
The Eastport community and the Hall Mountain Volunteer Fire Department would like to give a big thank you to registered nurse Elaine Atkins, who taught and certified firefighters in CPR on March 13.
It takes a lot of time, patience and organization to put on this class. Thanks also goes to the volunteer firefighters, who took the time to learn this life-saving technique.
Pat and Xyla Carson returned home after a trip to Darby, Mont., and Cressy and Placerville, California. They visited Xyla's sister, Janice Porter, and house-sat for her and worked on their graphics business.
The Carsons' visit turned out to be a “mission of mercy” when, on the first day of her vacation, Janice broke her leg and had to have surgery. The Carsons' stay was extended to seven weeks. We're glad you're home.
The Carsons also said to watch for their granddaughter, Jackie Molen, who will have a part in a Willy Nelson movie that is based on the song “Beer For My Horses.”
