Former Bonners Ferry resident Luella Neumayer Barlow, 80, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008, at her home in Spokane, Wash.
Lu was born May 15, 1927, in Bonners Ferry, the fourth of six children, to Joseph and Goldie Neumayer.
Over her life, Lu resided in her hometown of Bonners Ferry; Dwight, Kansas; Spokane and the Seattle area.
She was an avid gardener and trained florist with a beautiful singing voice. Lu was a loving mother to nine children, numerous grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
She was a generous and warm-hearted soul who made friends wherever she went.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 316 E. 24th Ave., Spokane.
