Michael “Mike” James Price, 50, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at his home in Bonners Ferry.

A memorial services was held Friday, April 25, at Free Methodist Church in Bonners Ferry with the Rev. Lowell Carlson officiating.

Internment was in Grandview Cemetery.

Mike was born Jan. 19, 1958, in Iwa Kuni, Japan, to William Russell and Audrey Jean Cox Price.

Mike moved to Bonners Ferry with his parents and sisters in 1965, where he lived until his death.

He went to school in Bonners Ferry.

On May 26, 1979, Mike married the former JoAnna Paschal in Moyie Springs and to this union, three children were born.

Mike worked at LP Mill and later Riley Creek from 1988 until 2007 before going to Dream Works, where he worked until his death.

Mike’s greatest joys in life were his family and friends. He loved the beauty of Boundary County and spent many weekends tramping through the woods looking for antlers and other treasures. There wasn’t an inch of Boundary County he hadn’t explored.

Mike will always be remembered for his off-beat sense of humor and his respect, love and caring for all of God’s Creatures.

He is survived by his wife, sons Clinton and Jason Price of Spokane, Wash.; daughter Tracey of Boise; grandchildren Anthony, William, Anissa and Andrew of Bonners Ferry; sisters Kathy (Bruce) Behrman, Cheri (Tom) Kellogg and Roby Fodge, all of Moyie Springs, Karen Price of Bonners Ferry, Susan Atchley and Chris Ymer, both of Spokane, and Jeannette (Jeff) Parish of Rosalia, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

The family suggests donations be made in Mike’s name to a Boundary County charity of one’s choice.
