Resident endorses Hagen, Bertling for school board

While Gil Hagen could be off doing many other things that a retired person enjoys, he has chosen to spend his days among our elementary schools and kindergarten mentoring children and hands-on aiding teachers in addition to serving on the school board.

Gil is a quiet, humble man whose actions speak loudly. He has devoted his life not just to his children and grandchildren, but to all the children in Boundary County.

Tim Bertling also devotes much time and effort to our school district while working a full-time schedule. His constituents will tell you that he is available to listen and makes the time to help. 

Learning the procedures and legalities of running the school district is time consuming and doesn’t come in a day. We currently have a school board that works well together to get business done and works tirelessly for our community.

I believe by retaining both Gil Hagen and Tim Bertling as school board members that our county will greatly benefit from the knowledge and experience that the current school board has gained.
