Flora Etta Worley

Flora Etta Worley, 96, passed away Friday, May 9, 2008, at Henderson Adult Family Home in Spokane Valley, Wash.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 17, at Kingdom Hall in Bonners Ferry with burial following at Grandview Cemetery in Bonners Ferry.

Etta was born Jan. 15, 1912, in Chenoa, Ill., to Marion and Hester Tracy. She received her education in Lewiston and Bonners Ferry.

In 1929, at age 17, Etta married Joseph Coy Worley in Bonners Ferry. She spent her life as a homemaker and was known for her patience and generosity.

She was well liked by everyone she met. Throughout Etta's life, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, picking huckleberries and canning.

Survivors include daughters Lillian Miller of Otis Orchards, Wash., and Sally Davis of Spokane, Wash.; son David Worley of Rathdrum; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Etta was preceded in death by her husband; daughters Josephine Krause, Mary Jane Cheatham and Ester Bell Crum; son Lee Worley; and grandsons Wayne and Danny Cheatham.
