Hospital levy definite need
One of the things in our community we don't think too much about until we need it is our hospital. At that point we want the best available treatment we can get.
As a member of the board of trustees of the Boundary Community Hospital, I can assure you that is what we want to provide you (and ourselves).
Whether it be an injury or an illness, it is important to have more than adequate equipment and personnel at the ready. And to be able to provide even more services locally, expansion, reorganizing and refurbishing of space is necessary. More locally provided tests and surgical services, cut down on time-consuming and expensive trips out of town.
To do these things, we need your support in the upcoming hospital levy vote on May 27.
I hope you get an opportunity to view the video presentation detailing how the levy will be used and answer any of your questions. If you are unable to do that, then pick up one of the brochures you will find around town, which gives the same details.
Help our local hospital be prepared for any health emergency you or your neighbor may have in the future ' vote 'yes' for the levy on the 27.
