Alan Londos Roebuck

| May 29, 2008 9:00 PM

Alan Londos Roebuck, my Honeybun, is now walking nature’s path with the Great Spirit.

He came to be with us on Nov. 15, 1938, and departed on Friday May 16, 2008, after living a full life among family and many friends that he loved so much.

His wife, Georgina “Nina” Roebuck, was given the gift of spending the last 11 years of his walk here on mother earth. They experienced and shared a very special love and friendship that deepened every day they were together. The last five years included their little puppy girl, Wee Biscuit, who Alan loved beyond words.

He served his country as a Marine and worked for Hewlett Packard for over 25 years as a special handling technician and consultant. Alan’s skills in documentation, training and mechanical design were highly exceptional and respected.

Those left to remember him with love are his daughters Cherne Haskell, Alaina Martinez and Marty Sue Roebuck; nieces Sheri Yazzie, Teri Roebuck and Cathy Williams; nephews Scott Roebuck, Roger Cullpepper, and Doyle and Damon Williams; and all of their family members. Other survivors are Alan’s extended family, Early and Shirley Cullpepper, Don and Linda Moss, Dave and Shirley Deneau, Jimmy Yarnell and many friends.

Alan’s love and respect of mother earth and the universe was endless. He loved watching the moon and stars at night through his telescope because Alan believed in his heart he would be stardust again one day and now he is.

A traditional native ceremony will take place on June 7 at the home of Don and Linda Moss at 18651 W. Riverview, Post Falls. Cremation will precede the ceremony.

Honeybun, may the Great Spirit grant you peace and serenity as you so well deserve on your walk. Biscuit and I will love you forever.
