School board candidate appreciates support

| May 29, 2008 9:00 PM

You can 'circle' the earth by yourself or with your friends and still never fully appreciate the purpose of this sphere.

I wish us all well and hope that those who represent us now and in the future will really search for the truth for greater good.

It's been a long three years since that fateful day on May 23, 2005, when I came to learn that money was more important to some than the lives of those who would be negatively impacted by one simple act of six people.

It's been an even longer time since only September 2007 because of my involvement in bringing forth the truth. My only intention, for years beyond those I've mentioned, has always been and will always be, to find ways in which we can come together as much as possible for a renewed sense of who we are and who we can become as individuals within our community to lift us up.

'Campaigning' for a 'public office' is something I never thought I would do and find it can be quite uncomfortable. Please know how greatly I've appreciated those of you who have been patient with me, taken the time to listen, asked questions and invited me to stand or sit with you amongst the beauty of this land we call home.

I'd like to pass this along. We are not perfect, but with diligence, openness and compassion, we can overcome many difficulties ' including typos.

I really appreciate the genuine support 'for us,' whether or not it came through in your vote or not.

Gentle reminder on these busy summer days: Pets knock over water bowls ' keep water filled in secured bowls and watch children around larger bowls.
