Florence Adeline Henslee, 83

Florence Adeline Henslee, 83, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, in Spokane, Wash.

Private family services will be held later.

Florence was born in Bonners Ferry on Aug. 4, 1925, to Carl and Lillie Nickolauson.

She went to school in Bonners Ferry.

Florence married Cleo Henslee on Dec. 27, 1941, in Bonners Ferry.

Florence was a receptionist for Dr. Edwards in Bonners Ferry, retiring in 1984.

She helped on the family farm in Paradise Valley, and in September 1989 moved to Hope.

Florence was a former 4-H Leader, and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, spending time with her family, fishing and camping.

Florence is survived by children Jim (Judi) Henslee of Oak Harbor, Wash., Richard (Barbara) Henslee of Bonners Ferry, and Sue (Gary) Tipps of Hope; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, David E. Nickolauson of Bonners Ferry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and a sister.
