A Moyie Springs girl remains on life support at Seattle Children’s Hospital after being in a car accident on Oct. 3 in Chehalis, Wash., that took her parents’ lives.
Aliana Bauducco-Heiss, 10, has shown no evident signs of waking.
“There hasn’t been a great change in her condition,” said family friend Christi Kramer. “She is able to breath on her own, but she remains on life support.”
Aliana’s parents, Karl Heiss, 43, and Marisa Bauducco-Heiss, 41, were pronounced dead at the scene. Her brother Alden, 6, suffered slight neck injuries and was released from the hospital.
“Alden remains in Seattle near Karl’s and Marisa’s parents,” said Kramer. “They continue to deal with many different needs and are focusing primarily on Aliana’s medical care.”
