The Badgers lost to St. Maries on Tuesday, Oct. 7, with scores of 14-25, 12-25,12-25.
“The stats don’t look as good as the game was played,” said coach Janis Tucker. “St. Maries is not a powerhouse, but they don’t make mistakes. They play consistent in every part of their game.”
Winkelseth had 2 blocks and 3 kills. Pluid had 5 assists and Clausen had 6 digs.
“Caitlin Clausen has really stepped up every aspect of her game from the beginning of the season,” said Tucker. “Mikki Erickson has had to step in as a utility player and play where she is needed. That experience has helped the Badgers and will continually help us until tournament time.”
Senior night will be held Tuesday, Oct. 21, at home against Timberlake.
