Ennis most qualified for position of sheriff

Vote for Jeff Ennis, write-in candidate for sheriff.

After knowing and working with Jeff for several years, it is clear that he is the man for the job. Jeff not only has the most qualifications for the job as far as formal training, he also has the know how to run our sheriff's department in a manner that will retain good employees.

We have had an unacceptable turnover at the sheriff's department, which causes concern for trained officers, not to mention the cost of training new ones. The turnover, among other things that Jeff established during his campaign, has created budget concerns for our department.

Jeff has a good rapport with the employees at the department and has a cohesive plan to bring it back together ethically and financially.

Jeff is the type of person that wants to uphold the motto 'To Protect and Serve.' This attitude brings a new respect to our law enforcement department that we have not had for years.

He has worked with youth and young adults in his personal and professional life, knowing that you have to get to the root of the problem to fix it. It should not be a shock to anyone that mental issues are what plagues our society, resulting in numerous crimes of all phases.

Jeff realizes this and wants to help those individuals ' he knows that sticking them in jail, then continually harassing them when they are out, is not the way to deter crime, nor gain any respect from those individuals for the law. Jeff has a compassion for people and the community, and is respected by all he has come in contact with.
