Edward Alvarado

Edward Alvarado, 84, of Bonners Ferry passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Valley Vista in Sandpoint.

Edward was born Oct. 13, 1923, in San Diego to Mary Theresa and Ceaser Alvarado.

He grew up in San Diego.

Edward was a World War II veteran.

He was one of the original Army rangers and a member of Merrill’s Marauders.

Edward was a retired supervisor for General Vendors.

He moved to Bonners Ferry in 1989 after he retired.

Edward is survived by a son, Edward, of Bonners Ferry; and daughters Vicky Smith of Las Vegas, and Connie Rae of San Diego.

There will be no calling hours.

A private service will be held.
