Med Cure good option for organ donations

Med Cure is an organization created to assist medical researchers and educators within the United States find cures and causes for many debilitating diseases. Their mission is to assist families with the option to donate at no cost to them.

There are no costs associated with donation. Through the donation process, Med Cure provides transportation from the place of death anywhere in the United States, the filing and processing of the death certificates, as well as, providing to the family, two certified copies of that certificate, cremation at no cost, return of the cremated remains to the family if requested and 24-hour assistance. This entire process takes approximately three weeks.

Med Cure provides organs and tissues to multiple leading researchers and educators. The many studies conducted are identifying dangerous medication interactions; improving surgical procedures and development of new procedures; reducing the duration of operations, scarring, patient recovery and chances for infection; as well as development of new and improved medical devices; and the discovery of new medicines.

Presently, this organization is doing research on the following diseases: Alzheimer's, ALS, arthritis, diabetes, heart diseases, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, osteoporosis and cancer. Med Cure supports the education of diseases at universities and medical schools.

Almost anyone can donate a body for education and research. The exception would be those infected with HIV, Hepatitis B or C, active tuberculosis and the severely obese.
