Joan Dalquist Nelson

Former Bonners Ferry resident Joan Dalquist Nelson, 80, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008.

Joan was born July 8, 1928.

She moved to Bonners Ferry in 1991 and Lihue on Kauai Island, Hawaii, in 2002, to be with family.

Joan is survived by sons Ken Nelson and his wife, Sally, of Bonners Ferry and Doug Nelson and his wife, Cathy, of Kauai; a brother, Robert Dalquist of Medaryville, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Brooks; a grandson, Jesse Brooks; and her husband, Robert Nelson.

Memorial services were held Sept. 3 at Calvary Chapel Kapaa in Kauai.
