Volleyball team wins 10 of 12 tourney matches

Bonners Ferry High School Volleyball team won 10 out of 12 matches during the Bonners Ferry Tournament on Saturday.

The Lady Badgers defeated Selkirk 25-14 and 25-6; Coeur d' Alene junior varsity 25-23 and 25-17; Clark Fork 25-11 and 25-13; Orofino 25-15 and 25-15.

Bonners Ferry split with Lake City junior varsity with a loss of 22-25 and a victory of 25-16; and Lakeland with a loss of 20-25 and a 25-12 victory.

Ashley Winkelseth had 41 kills and 6 blocks during the tournament. Hayley Olson took in 49 assists and Katie Pluid got 22 aces and 15 digs.
