Ervin and Carolee Madson of Bonners Ferry were honored for their 50th anniversary
Ervin and Carolee Madson of Bonners Ferry were honored for their 50th anniversary at a dinner in Spokane, Wash., attended by 75 relatives.
The Madisons were married on February 28, 1959, in Colville, Wash.
For Madsons’ anniversary party, Norita Dahlin and Janis Habner made a replica of the wedding cake and the flowers were replicated by Dahlin.
Their oldest granddaughter, Mindy Buell of Larmie, Wyo., wore Carolee’s wedding dress and their youngest grddaughter Brynn Williams of Tenino, Wash., wore Carolee’s hand crocheted baby dress made by an aunt in 1942.
The Madsons’ children, Monika Beuell, Norita Dahlin, Janis Habner, Eric Madson and Heidi Williams; their spouses; 12 of their 14 grandchildren; and great-granddaughter attended family came from Wyoming, Arizona, Washington and Idaho. They all spent the long weekend at Stoneridge Resort in Blanchard.
The following week Madsons took a 17-day trip, which included a cruise to the Bahamas and visiting friends in Florida and Jamaica.
