The owner of the State Farm Insurance Agency in Bonners Ferry, he had two stints put in and remained hospitalized for six days before returning to Bonners Ferry on March 19.

“Due to my health concerns I would like to resign as council president, and in doing so I would like to nominate Dave Gray,” Langs said. “I think Dave Gray is a very intelligent, energetic, well balanced council member and I would be proud to nominate him as council president.”

“Those are very humbling and very kind words that you said, ‘thank you sir,’” Gray said.
