Girls to play two softball games Friday, doubleheader Saturday

Two rained-out Bonners Ferry High School Girls Softball games will be made up.

One is set for 3 p.m. Friday, April 17, against Sandpoint Junior Varsity followed by a game with Potlach at 5. The games are home at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

The Bonners Ferry girls game with Sandpoint’s junior varsity was canceled Monday at the end of the second inning due to weather.  The game will be resumes at the top of the third inning with Bonners Ferry leading 8-4.

Saturday, the Lady Badgers will play a home doubleheader with St. Maries. Play begins at 11 a.m.

The girls are 0-8. They have played three games against Orifino, two games against Lakeland, one with Coeur d’ Alene junior varsity and two with Libby’s JV.  

Scores thus far have been Orofino 13, Bonners Ferry 2; Orofino 11, Bonners Ferry 10; Orofino 17, Bonners Ferry 6; Lakeland JV 11, Bonners Ferry 0; Lakeland JV 11, Bonners Ferry 7; Coeur d' Alene JV 14, Bonners Ferry 0; Libby JV 12, Bonners Ferry 2; and Libby JV 6, Bonners Ferry 5.
