Bonners Ferrry’s Chelsea Taggart pitched a no-hitter Friday during the first game of a double header against Sandpoint’s junior varsity softball team.

The Lady Badgers beat Sandpoint 16-3 in the first game and 6-5 in the second.

In game one, Taggert had 10 strikeouts and eight walks.

  Kendra Neumeyer led with four hits. Amanda Riley and Jordan Porter  had three hits, and Taggart had two.

 In the second game, Porter pitched eight strikeouts, and seven walks and gave up six hits.

Riley had three hits, Ashley Gilbertson and Sammye Tompkins had two hits.

Saturday the Lady Badgers lost 11-0 and 15-3 to St. Maries.

Taggart pitched the first game. She had four strikeouts, four walks, and 16 hits against her. 

 In the second game Porter had one strike out, three walks and had 21 hits against her. 

Riley led the Lady Badgers with three hits, and Porter had two hits.
