Ricky Skaggs

Fourteen-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder will host a free concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, on the soccer fields at Boundary County Fairgrounds.

The concert is hosted by the Rev. Garrett Graupner and Mountain Springs Church of Bonners Ferry.

Skaggs is widely known as a country music star and affectionately known as bluegrass music’s official ambassador. Kentucky Thunder is a talented group of musicians and singers, having won six Grammys.

Concert-goers should bring lawn chairs.

“Border Bob” will be selling smoked beef sandwiches for $5 beginning 5 p.m.
