Cynthia Lee Lock, 77

Cynthia Lee Lock, 77, passed away Thursday Aug. 20, 2009, at her home in Spokane, Wash.

Cynthia was born Nov. 26, 1931, in Ione, Wash., to Charlie “Tot” and Vonnie Smith.

Cynthia was raised in the Smith Creek, Port Hill area and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1950.

She married Dee Lock of Naples in 1948.

Dee and Cynthia followed road construction in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii, and eventually settled in Spokane.

Cynthia is survived by her husband of Spokane; children Gary of Spokane, Shari Adams Fitch of Kennewick, Wash.; and Pat and Bill of Sandpoint.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hospice, cancer research, or the charity of one’s choice.

There will be a potluck lunch and memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at United Methodist Church at 6568 Lincoln St., Bonners Ferry.
