Letters Policy

Letters must be typed, double-spaced and no longer than 250 words. (This is approximately 15 typed lines.)

 Letters must be signed in ink and include the author’s hometown and a telephone number for verification.

Letters in poor taste or libelous or that are massed produced will be edited or not published.

Prior approval from the publisher and editor must be secured before a guest opinion can be submitted.

The authors of letters longer than 250 words will either be asked to rewrite them to fit guidelines or given the option of having the edited by the Daily Bee editorial board.
