Dorothy Friedly, 85

Former Bonners Ferry resident Dorothy Friedly, 85, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Roo-Lan Healthcare Center in Lacey, Wash.

Dorothy was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Freeburg, Ill., and moved in the 1930s with her family to Bonners Ferry.

She was receded in death by her husband of 50 years, Howard Sr., and daughter, Carla Maulden.

Dorothy is survived by daughters Sandra Hamlin of Pasco, Wash., and Kimberly Friedly of Olympia, Wash.; sons Frank and Howard Jr., both of Olympia; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Washington.
