BFHS C team defeats Lakeland, Libby

Bonners Ferry High School freshmen girls basketball team beat Lakeland 35-13 on Saturday.

This is the third time Bonners Ferry beat Lakeland this season. The Lady Badgers outscored Lakeland 15-3 in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Macie Everhart led the scoring with 8 points.

The Lady Badgers also beat Libby’s freshmen 42-16 Thursday.

“All nine Bonners players scored in a balanced attack against the loggers,” said coach Travis Hinthorn.

Ally Merrifield led with 8 points in two quarters of play, and Jordan Grapensteter had 8 points in three quarters of play.

The freshmen Lady Badgers have are 6-2 with two games remaining.
