Riley nets 12 for win over Libby

Bonners Ferry Junior Varsity player Amanda Riley scored 12 points to lead the Lady Badgers to a 48-32 over Kellogg on Saturday.

“After a slow start in the first quarter, the Badgers stepped up to outscore the Wildcats 18-7 in the second quarter,” said coach Travis Hinthorn.

Hailey Pruitt scored 11 points and combined four, 3-pointers. Jordan Porter came inside with 11 points.

The Lady Badgers junior varsity also beat Libby 52-18 on Thursday.

“Bonners set the attack against the Loggers with a 12-0 first quarter score,” Hinthorn said.

Porter scored 9 points and Ally Merrifield and Riley both scored 8.

The Lady Badger junior varsity team’s record is 6-1 overall.
