A new Web site that  allows folks to purchase photos taken of Boundary County Middle, Bonners Ferry High schools and Boundary County parks and Recreation sports.

Photographer Loren Orr started the Web site and posts photos taken of seasonal sports so parents and family members interested in obtaining a copy of the action shots can buy them directly online.

“There are about 30 to 40 photos on the page and the sports are listed chronologically by school and sport so people can select which photos or mugs and other accessories they want,” said Orr.

Orr received a degree in photography from the University of Idaho.

“I took did the majority of the sports stuff while I was an employee at University of Idaho’s athletic department,” Orr said.

Orr also did sports photography for the Associated Press taking professional photos for North Idaho and Washington sporting events including some pro sporting events in Spokane.

Orr and his family moved to Bonners Ferry about four years ago and his two daughters participate in high school sports.

“My youngest is in volleyball and softball and my older daughter is involved in golf and cheerleading,” Orr said.

“This is something I enjoy doing,” Orr explained.  I have wanted to do this for a number of years and now with the digital age it is more affordable and accessible.”  “I feel I can offer this service to the community at a modest price as it is much more affordable in this day and age.”
